Hiring For An Assistant Position for the 2014-2015 School year.

The Mother Tree, a Waldorf inspired mixed age Kindergarten, is seeking an Assistant Teacher for our mixed age (3-6 years old) Kindergarten program for the upcoming 2014-15 school year as well as for our Summer Camp Program.

The year position can be held by one full time Assistant ( approximately 20-28 hours per week) or shared by two. This Assistant position is a wonderfully deepening opportunity for those newly graduated from the Waldorf Teacher Education Eugene program, or for those currently in their training.

Prospective candidates must have experience working with young children with consideration given to those with experience with Waldorf Education… coupled by a very tangible love for the protection and nurturance of childhood and community building.
