Spring is coming and
Date Night this upcoming Friday from 5:30-9:00pm will be in celebration of daffodils and new beginnings. Date Nights with me at the Mother Tree are simple evenings filled with fun. All it necessitates is you all taking time for yourselves to connect with your adult loved ones because you have brought over your children to come play, hear stories, eat honey butter popcorn and the basket dinner you packed for them while you are away. The first half of our evening is often outdoors and then we settle in to arts and crafts and play in the classroom, popcorn of course, and we end with story time, candlelight and songs. I ask for a sliding scale donation of 3-7 dollars an hour per child for these evenings plus one very important detail… I absolutely require a single story about whatever romantic authentic sharing you had while out on the town or wherever your date night time took you. Single parents- you don’t have to have a date to participate.. you can always just have a date with yourself– go look out at the full moon- drink tea– breathe… take a bath…… I am truly happy to support you all in having that sort of breathing time together or for yourselves… if there is one thing I would give every parent in the world.. it is the gift of more real authentic time for yourselves- to give- to receive to renew. Thus,  that is what is at the heart of Date Nights.
